Home of the NH LEND program (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities).
NH's Protection and Advocacy organization for people with disabilities, including mental illness and developmental disabilities. Provides legal advocacy, rights education, and systemic advocacy for individuals navigating psychiatric hospitalization, guardianship, SSI/SSDI, housing, and employment. Free services to eligible individuals.
NH's statewide federally mandated early intervention program for children birth to age 3 with developmental delays or disabilities. Free evaluations and therapy services (speech, OT, PT, developmental) delivered in the home or community. Gateway to the NH developmental services system.
Designated area agency serving individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders across 24 Lakes Region communities (Belknap and southern Carroll counties). Provides early intervention, family support, residential services, day programs, and employment supports.
Spaulding Youth Center is a nationally recognized school and residential program for students with autism, emotional and behavioral disorders, and brain injuries. Provides highly specialized day school, residential treatment, and therapeutic services for children and adolescents with complex neurodevelopmental needs. NH DHHS and special education funded.
