Why this directory isn't out of date
A mental health directory is only as good as its worst stale entry — a disconnected crisis line is worse than no listing at all. Here is exactly how Meridian keeps every resource trustworthy.

01Sourced from authorities
Every listing traces back to a named source — NH DHHS, the regional community mental health center, 211 NH, or the provider itself. We record that source on the resource so the chain of evidence is never lost.
02Verified by a real person
Before a resource is published, a Meridian admin confirms the phone numbers, hours, eligibility, and intake details against the source. The date of that confirmation is stamped onto the listing.
03On a review cadence
Each resource carries a re-verification interval. Crisis lines are re-checked every 90 days; most listings every 180. When a listing comes due, it moves to the top of our internal review queue automatically.
04Continuously refreshed
An automated link checker watches every website daily and flags anything that breaks. Anyone can report an out-of-date detail. Nothing sits unexamined long enough to quietly rot.
Reading the verification badge
Every resource card shows when it was last confirmed and where the information came from.
