Get listed on Meridian
Meridian helps New Hampshire residents find the mental health care they need — and that only works when the directory reflects who's actually out there. If you're a NH agency, practice, or clinician, here's how to be found.
Why be listed
Meridian is a free, independent, non-commercial directory. There are no ads and no paid placements — listings are included on merit and kept accurate through verification. Being listed simply means the people searching for care in your region can find you when they need you.
Who can be listed
Meridian lists organizations and clinicians that serve New Hampshire.
Community agencies & programs
Community mental health centers, substance use treatment programs, crisis services, peer support agencies, housing and employment supports, and nonprofit behavioral health organizations serving New Hampshire.
Group & private practices
Behavioral health group practices and clinics that see New Hampshire clients — in person or via telehealth — and are accepting referrals.
Individual clinicians
Licensed New Hampshire therapists, counselors, psychologists, psychiatric prescribers, and other behavioral health professionals with availability for new clients.
What information we need
Have these ready before you submit. Not everything is required, but the more complete your listing, the more useful it is to the people searching.
Organization or clinician name
The name clients will search for, plus any 'doing business as' names.
Location & service area
Physical address(es) and the NH regions or catchment areas you serve. Note if you offer telehealth statewide.
How to reach you
Public phone, intake line, website, and the best way for a new client to start.
Services & specialties
The populations you serve (adults, children, families), conditions you treat, and any specialized programs or modalities.
Insurance & payment
Insurance plans accepted, whether you take NH Medicaid, and whether sliding-scale or reduced-fee slots are available.
License & credentials
License type and number (for individual clinicians) or relevant program certifications — used for verification, not published in full.
How verification works
Every listingVerification is what makes the directory trustworthy. Here's the process from submission to a live listing.
- 1
Submit your information
Use the submission form to send the details above. It takes about ten minutes. You can also email us if that's easier — the important thing is getting the core facts to us.
- 2
We verify
A reviewer confirms your license or program status against public records (NH OPLC license lookup, state program listings) and checks that contact and intake details are current. We may reach out with a quick question.
- 3
You're listed
Once verified, your listing goes live in the directory and becomes findable through search, the region and catchment pages, and the Find a Therapist tool. Verification date is recorded.
- 4
We keep it fresh
Listings are periodically re-verified. We'll reach out to confirm details are still accurate — and you can tell us about changes any time.
For the full picture of how we source and re-verify data, see our methodology page.
A note on integrity
Listing on Meridian is not an endorsement, a referral, or a certification of quality — it means we've verified you exist, practice in New Hampshire, and hold the credentials you claim. We don't accept payment for placement or ranking. If we can no longer verify a listing, we update or remove it, using the same standard we used to add it.
