About Jason

Jason Forbes is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with more than 25 years of clinical experience. Over that career he has worked across community mental health agencies and hospital emergency departments — settings that ask a clinician to meet people at their most overwhelmed and help them find steady ground.

He brings that experience to a solo practice in Nashua, where he works with adults and couples throughout Nashua and the greater Hillsborough County area. His approach is holistic and client-centered: he starts from what matters to you, works at your pace, and treats the relationship itself as part of what helps.

How Jason works

Grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy and drawing on mindfulness, DBT skills, and trauma-focused approaches for individuals, with Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method for couples. The work is tailored to each person rather than a one-size-fits-all protocol.
