Adult Day Health is particularly valuable for individuals with early-to-mid-stage dementia and their family caregivers. The NH Family Caregiver Support Program, administered by the Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services (BEAS) through local Area Agencies on Aging, provides free services to unpaid family caregivers of adults 60+ and grandparents/relative caregivers of children. Services include caregiver counseling, respite care, support groups, information and referral, and supplemental services.
