Support Groups
Nar-Anon is a 12-step program for families, friends, and loved ones of people with drug addiction. NH Nar-Anon groups meet in Manchester, Concord, Nashua, and online. Members share experience, strength, and hope for coping with a loved one's substance use. Free and confidential.

Support Groups
The New Hampshire Area of Narcotics Anonymous (NA) hosts in-person and online 12-step meetings for people in recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol. NH NA meetings take place in Manchester, Nashua, Concord, Dover, Portsmouth, Laconia, Keene, and communities statewide. The program is abstinence-based and spiritually grounded but not affiliated with any religion. Free; no commitment required to attend.

New Hampshire's statewide 24/7 information and referral service. Trained specialists connect residents with over 4,000 nonprofit agencies for mental health services, housing, food, utilities, substance use treatment, and more.
Telehealth & Online Therapy
NH Medicaid covers telehealth for behavioral health services including therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, substance use counseling, and peer support — with parity to in-person visits. NH residents on Medicaid can receive most mental health services via video or phone from home.

LGBTQ+ Affirming Care
NH organization creating safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth to explore questions of gender and sexuality in welcoming environments. Runs support groups, peer programs, and an Alternative Peer Group (APG) for LGBTQ+ youth in recovery from substance use. Affiliated with the NH Center for Justice and Equity.
